I’m Richard Alma Photographer, located in Denmark.

I picked up a camera in my early thirties and never looked back.

I've lived and worked across Australia, the Netherlands, Indonesia, and Denmark. Fashion, NGO work, nature, people. Nine solo exhibitions in Australia. Commissions across multiple global locations — unique places I am grateful to have visited and photographed.

I shoot exclusively in natural light. I follow the light — the seasons, the weather, the time of day all shape what's possible. I work with what's there.

People fascinate me. Wherever I am with a camera, I take the time to understand who I'm photographing before I click the shutter.

I will always be a curious soul with a camera in hand.
